This is such a fresh, earthy combination reminding me of fresh cut grass on a sunny September day! With kids back to school and leaves already starting to show their turning I was drawn to this stamp set when I chose an image for today’s design. The leaf image was stamped in Lido ink and then sponged with the Wasabi using sponge daubers along the edges. The sentiment was stamped in French Roast and pearl stickers were used as accents in addition to the French Roast satin ribbon. Enjoy the last few weeks of summer weather, pull out a favorite autumn stamp set and give this color combination a try this week!!

clean and simple sunday no. 52

As much as I have enjoyed the summer weather, I like the transition from Summer to Autumn even more! Warm, sunny days that turn into crisp, cool evenings…back-to-school, football, mums, pumpkin mazes… every season brings it’s gifts!  With Autumn on the horizon I chose Fresh Foliage to create the C&SS card for this week.

A clean, simple color palette of vanilla, sage and french roast reminds us that summer hasn’t quite packed her bags!  I pulled out my scallop border dies and a few buttons from my A|S french roast button stash. The button packs from A|S offer a variety of shapes and sizes! You never know what treasure you’ll find when you dig through looking for that “just right” embellishment. Buttons are an easy way to add dimension and a little texture to your card designs.  Enjoy!
