clean & simple sunday no. 133

Another cute Valentine to share using stamps from the A Muse Studio January Collection…

For this card, I used the From the Heart stamp set out of the January Collection, both the sentiment and the arrow image. The wiener dog is from the Welcome to the Neighborhood stamp set and the balloon around his tail is from the Hooray stamp set.

When you make a collage-style card, where you are grouping different images together, it’s fun to shop your stash and see what you have from different stamp sets that might go together. I knew I wanted to make a Valentine that incorporated this little Doxie image. We have a Doxie and I’m going to give this card to my husband, he’ll love it!

This is our Dolly girl…Whenever Joe is sitting somewhere in the house, Dolly is on his lap. We call him the “dog magnet”. She LOVES being petted and insists on it!

So this is the card for this week! I have more Valentines coming using this great new Collection from A Muse Studio!

Thanks so much for taking a look today! You comments are always welcome ~ I love and so appreciate your feedback.

Color Challenge Wednesday No. 32 – Birthday

Geez… it’s been about a YEAR since I posted a color challenge so I am back today to offer you a cute card design in a fresh, summer color palette that works great for a variety of card themes. I chose birthday since I always seem to need a birthday card…

For this card I used A Muse Studio colors Buttercup, Sky, Mermaid and Apple with a little bit of Onyx as the neutral. I used the Bitty Banner dies to cut the banner shapes out of some of our patterned card stocks, including our new apple petite hex and our new sky reverse polka dots. The sentiment is from the Hooray stamp set. The little flower on the middle banner is from the Love and Thanks stamp set with coordinating dies. I finished it off with a pointed strip using the pinking border die in medium and a few of the new 4mm sequins in buttercup.

I hope you’ll give this color palette a try during your next card-making session–I feel happy just looking at this card!

In case you missed this little news flash from my last post… it’s coming and it’s better than ever! Can’t wait to share!

Clean and Simple Sunday No. 124 | Hooray + Happy Thoughts

I’m back today {after a bit of a blogging break} to share a new Clean & Simple Sunday card using a couple of brand new stamp sets from the new 2015-16 Annual A Muse Studio Catalog…

One of my favorite new products in this new catalog are the stitched edge dies that are now available through A Muse Studio. In addition to some fun stitched circle dies, they have a fun set of landscape dies that includes three different landscape cuts + this adorable cloudy sky cut, perfect to use with the sunshine from the new Hooray stamp set. The sentiment is from the Happy Thoughts stamp set (another new one!) that includes lots of other heart-felt greetings, perfect for the front or inside of a card.

A Muse Studio HoorayPersonal StationeryI used some 3D foam adhesive to pop that cloud panel off the front of the card, some washi tape along the bottom to add some contrast and those tiny buttercup sequins add just enough shine.

If you’d like to see more of what’s offered in the new A Muse Studio catalog, click on the title of this post to transfer over to my blog and you can download a FREE copy of the catalog right to your desk top! Just look for it in the right margin of my blog. If you live here in the U.S., you can also place orders anytime by clicking HERE.

Thanks for taking a peek at my card for today!  I hope you find some time to stamp this week…

P.S. I never did hold a “new catty event” the end of May as mentioned in my last post… I came home from the A Muse Studio Conference with an enormous design team assignment that truly took up every spare moment for about 7 weeks, that I wasn’t at my 9-5 job or a little league game! If you would like to be on my A Muse Newsletter email list where I share dates for upcoming events (that actually make my schedule!), promotional information from A|S and usually a little project tutorial, please let me know in the comments and I’ll add you to the list!  I only send out the newsletter about every other month (if that) and promise never to pepper you with junk mail!

One other tidbit you might get excited about…  Eeek!
