2014 Holiday Card Series – Package Tower

Card # 4  |  What would Christmas be without a few gifts under the tree?!

For this festive card I started with a base card in cherry petite pinstripe. This card is top folding and I rounded the bottom corners with my Corner Chomper tool on the 1/4″ rounded setting.

For the package tower, I stamped the image from the Oh What Fun stamp set using Memento tuxedo black ink and colored it in with Copic markers using two shades of green (YG17 + YG25) and two shades of red (R29 + R39) to create some depth. I then cut the package tower out of the white card stock using the corresponding die (sold separately).

NOTE | If you are having trouble cutting out stamped images from our corresponding dies please let me know in the comments!! I can provide a trick that will make lining up the dies with the images a snap!

I layered a cherry circle cut from the small circle dies, to the pinstripe base card and then attached the package tower with some 3D foam squares. I then cut a strip of white card stock, stamped a sentiment from this same stamp set in cherry ink and cut each end in a fish tail before adding it on top of the package tower image with adhesive.

The last step was to add a few cherry sequins to make the card shine… glue dots work great for this!

Thanks for having a look!  If you’d like to order the supplies I used to make this card you can do that HERE in my stamp shop!
