clean & simple sunday no. 59 + one more

This is a busy time of year for most of us and one thing that can make our gift shopping a little bit easier is the option of giving a gift card. Today I’m going to share a couple of clean and simple gift card holders that are super easy to make…

I chose cherry and sage papers to create these gift card holders. The stamp set is from A Muse|Studio – Let It Snow! I used a bit of cherry satin ribbon and some cherry sparkle stickers to embellish. The scalloped squares were created using the scallop Nestabilities die, also offered by A|S.

For the gift card holder above, I created a small card base out of sage card stock and for the inside gift card holder component, I used the gift card insert die offered by A|S. This die cuts a rectangle to perfectly fit the inside of a 4Bar card (3.5 x 5″). These cards fit into the 4Bar envelopes perfectly. You could stamp a matching snowflake on the envelope and add the recipients name… these would look really cute tucked among the branches of your Christmas tree.

NOTE| This gift card insert die retails for $19.99 through A|S (#TAD0041)and I have to say, its a great investment if you already have a die-cutting system, especially if you enjoy gift-card giving. This can be used to create wonderful, creative gift card holders for all occasions…birthdays, showers, graduations, weddings, teacher gifts, etc. The insert holds the gift card nice and snug in the card base and creates a very attractive presentation.

For this next example above, I used the gift card template I shared with you last year {you can find it again right here}. This is great if you don’t happen to have that special insert die I mentioned above. This one is more of a square shape, but it too will fit nicely into one of those 4Bar envelopes.

These gift card holders are quite easy to make and can add a handmade touch to your holiday gift-giving!
