clean & simple sunday no. 48

This week I pulled out my favorite set for baby cards—Little Peanuts—and put together a simple design by creating a raised center panel…

The A|S colors I chose included lemon whip for the base card, sky for the mat and wasabi for the grass. I colored in the giraffe with Copic Y17 and used the blender to remove color in the spots just by dotting his back a few times in the same spots. I colored in the butterfly and then doused him with glue and glitter to give him a little sparkle. I finished off the design with a bit of ribbon folded in half an stapled to the stamped panel before attaching the whole thing to the base card using foam tape. This is a design I go to regularly when I need to make a cute card, quickly. Lots of images work well for this center focused design with the ribbon tab. Give it a try and have a great week!
