You may even already own some of the stamp sets featured!  Lots of great inspiration awaits!!

If you are already participating in the blog hop, you should have come
from Angela’s blog and if not, then

you should start from the beginning with Karen’s blog until you come back to my blog.
You wouldn’t want to miss out on any of these great holiday ideas!

I chose the Holiday Tags stamp set and made a series of gift tags using a combination of words and images. These were super easy to make and would look very cute tied to a gift bag, package or even as a packaging label on a food item…

One of my favorite things to make around Christmas time is HOMEMADE CARAMEL CORN. This is a great recipe to make in batches and give as gifts to neighbors and friends (if you can bare to part with it, it’s that good!).  How cute it would look in coffee bags or cello bags with a tag like this tied or stapled to the package!  Here is a closer look at the complete set of tags I put together…

I used kraft card stock and cut pieces into 2-1/2 x 4″ rectangles. I trimmed the top two edges of one of the rectangles off with scissors and then used that piece as a template/guide to trim the others so they’d all be about the same shape… I cut smaller rectangles (1-1/2 x 1-1/4) out of sugar card stock to stamp the images on and I used different colors of ink to stamp them… eucalyptus, french roast, cherry, sage, etc… I popped these little image panels up with foam squares to give the tags a little dimension. For the sentiments, I used the titian ink pad out of the venetian palette, but french roast would look great, too. The accent paper is the candy cane stripe (shown on page 135 of the regular A|S catalog), cut to 2-1/2 x 3/4″ strips.  I finished off each tag with a piece of cherry/white baker’s twine. That’s it!

I hope these cute, simple tags provide some inspiration — enjoy the recipe!  If you would like a chance to WIN this set of gift tags, please leave a message for me in the comments!

This is it—the end of the blog hop… I hope you enjoyed your visit through the blogs
of these very talented A Muse|Studio consultants across the U.S.
