color challenge wednesday #13

Back to color challenge Wednesday!!  I apologize for the little “blog vacation” I took last week… I’ve come down with a horrible Spring cold and I have not been in the stamping spirit…It took everything in me just to get myself though my work days last week, but I’m happy to say that I’m starting to feel better and I actually have some fun cards coming up to share with you over the next week or so!!

My post for this week challenges you to try using yellow-green, blue-green and grey (A|S colors: sage, bermuda and seattle) as a color combination this week…

This card was made using the Little Peanut stamp set, a white/sugar base card and a couple of strips — sage and a bermuda polka dot. I used my scissors to make a little grassy fringe on one edge of the sage strip before gluing it to my base card. The rhino I stamped in Memento black and colored him in with a Copic in C3. I like this color combination for the fresh, whimsical look it gives the card design.  I hope you will give this combination a try as you do some stamping this week!!
