clean & simple sunday #26

This week, in addition to the clean & simple theme, I’m still trying to find ways to use the stamps I have on hand to create Valentines and share those ideas with you…

"I can always count on you when I'm in a tight spot"

In this example, I started with a Cherry base card and cut the card stock so that the fold of the card is on the left side. I then used my Labels 8 die to cut the shaped stamping panel, stamped a wrench image in Titan ink, one of the new colors in the brand new Venetian color palette, and cut out the medium heart from the Hearts die set in the Cherry Gingham paper. I glued the heart to the panel and stamped the sentiment in Cherry ink. I created a little tab of French Roast satin ribbon and secured it to the top of the stamped panel with a small, sliver brad. This is a simple way to add a small embellishment and give your project a finished look.

The Labels 8 die set is getting a lot of use!  It gives such a delicate, finished edge to the panel that a mat is not necessary and I love the clean, simple look of this sweet card.
