color challenge wednesday #3

For this week’s color challenge, I chose the colors dark brown, pale pink and pale green (A|S colors: french roast, shell, and lichen). The neutral 4th color is white (sugar)…

I really love these colors together! I cut a strip of each–brown, pink and pale green–and mounted them to a white panel leaving a little space between each. I then wrapped a lichen ribbon around the panel before adhering it to my base card (shell). I cut a label shape using my Labels 8 die set out of white card stock and stamped a couple of sets of leaves from the Fresh Foliage stamp set in lichen ink on the left side of the label shape. I then stamped the birthday sentiment in french roast ink in the bottom right corner of the label. I attached the label to the card front using foam squares.

I hope that you will have a chance to try this color combination next time you pull out your stamps to make a card!

  1. Those colors are very nice together and the card is very pretty.

  2. Absolutely beautiful!!!
