clean & simple sunday #14

This week’s clean and simple card design features a birthday banner!  I used a piece of A|S french roast twine as the string on the banner and then cut triangles out of small pieces of A|S paper in my scrap bin, adhering them to the white card base with regular tape runner.  I then rounded the corners of the bottom of the card with my corner-rounder punch and stamped a little sentiment in Memento ink in the bottom right corner.  Viola!

This card is so sweet and simple…perfect for a baby shower, welcome home baby, or a first birthday/toddler birthday. Change up the color-scheme of the scraps and you could give this card to anyone for a birthday!  I was also thinking you could stamp small stars or flowers on the triangle pieces, or even  letters or numbers to indicate a name or age.  You could also make the triangles bigger or smaller…so many ideas for one simple card!   Enjoy!
