clean & simple sunday #4.

Hello stampers!! I just had a really great weekend…  it was balanced really well and that makes me feel so good!!  I love when I have time to clean, time to be with friends & family, time to organize my life and time to stamp all in the same two days.  Anyway, I didn’t do a lot of stamping but I spent time organizing my space and I’ll show you photos of that later this week, for now, I’ll try to keep it to “Clean & Simple Sunday”…

The card this week features a new stamp that I purchased at a local scrapbook shop–

Maryse Carrier; Stampotique Originals, Inc.

I love the clean, simple lines of this artist’s designs.  Her name is Maryse Carrier and she’s one of my new favorite stamp designers.  I think her images are adorable and if you click on her name you can shop in her little boutique and pick up a few yourself!  The color scheme I used is SU! orange/olive/pear. The brad and ribbon are also SU!  I stamped the image in Momento black ink and colored it in with my Copic markers. The word “celebrate” is actually off of an SU! image–a block of birthday words.  I colored that word with black marker and used my Stampamajig tool to place it in the precise spot next to the plant. I used the polka dot embossing folder to add texture to the design. I hope this card inspires you in some way!  Have fun stamping this week!
